Oyambre Natural Park has 5,758 acres that is divided between the municipalities of Comillas, San Vicente de la Barquera, Udías, Valdáliga and Val de San Vicente.

The estuaries of San Vicente de la Barquera and rage

The estuaries of San Vicente de la Barquera and rage, with its beaches, dunes, cliffs and forest of Monte Corona, set the park. A clear example of natural ecosystem, which are appreciated and combine the landscape quality of the coast and estuaries with high value areas of meadows and forests of native hardwoods. The action of these estuaries justifies major faunal and botanical features of the Park. So, estuaries provide habitat for specific wildlife molluscs and other aquatic invertebrates.
